United Arab Emirates, 14 January – UD Trucks has expanded its product portfolio in the UAE with the launch of the new Kuzer, a light-duty truck engineered to support urban and distribution-focused businesses with dependable everyday performance, high productivity, and low operating costs.
Developed to maximise uptime and help customers optimise efficiency and profitability, the new Kuzer is available in 6.5-ton, 7.5-ton, and 8.5-ton GVW variants, with a choice of two powertrains to suit different operational needs across a wide range of industries.

With the arrival of the new Kuzer, UD Trucks now offers a complete range across light-duty (Kuzer), medium-duty (Croner), and heavy-duty (Quester) segments in the UAE.

The new Kuzer is a practical and dependable light-duty truck designed for daily business operations. Offered with multiple wheelbase options, it allows customers to select the configuration best suited to their requirements. Depending on the variant, the Kuzer is powered by either a 3.0-litre or 5.2-litre Euro 4-compliant engine, paired with a 6-speed manual or Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), delivering an optimal balance of performance, payload capability, and operational efficiency—particularly for stop-and-go urban applications.
Compact exterior dimensions enhance manoeuvrability and visibility in busy city environments. With an overall height of up to 2,294 mm (depending on the variant), flexible wheelbase options, and rear frame configurations, the Kuzer can accommodate a wide range of body types, with body lengths ranging from 4,300 mm to 6,130 mm.
Driver Comfort, Safety, and Reliability
Inside the cab, the Kuzer is designed to create a comfortable and efficient working environment for long operating hours. Features such as climate control, an adjustable tilt and telescopic steering column, and a clear, easy-to-read instrument cluster help reduce driver fatigue. Practical in-cab details—including USB charging ports, a 24-volt power outlet, cup holders, and durable seating—further enhance everyday usability.
Safety remains a key focus. The new Kuzer is equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), traction control with Anti-Slip Regulator, and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), with driver and passenger airbags available as an option. Additional features such as a reverse buzzer, steering lock, and central locking contribute to safer daily operations.
To support reliability in demanding conditions, the Kuzer includes practical features such as front and rear fog lamps, a heavy-duty air filter with pre-cleaner, fuel pre-filter, fuel tank lock, electric disc horn, and position lamps, enhancing durability, visibility, and ease of operation.
